Bexley Badminton club was started back in 2015 playing only 2 sessions as recreational and for fitness. Over the years, Club has gained a reputation serving Bexley borough providing high standards and at the same time friendly badminton sessions for both juniors of age 8 and above and senior players. As a result, We are glad to share club now runs 5 senior sessions and 3 junior sessions weekly. Thanks for the massive support to all participants all through the past years and many more years to come. Club currently offers sessions to players from Welling and far areas like Bromley, Dartford, Sidcup, Plumstead, Gillingham, Tonbridge.
Our main club night sessions for seniors (above U16s) are structured in such a way so it meets the aspiration and expectation of club players

Bexley BC Juniors
Our junior sessions are one of the most active in the Bexley area. We have approx 65+ juniors attending weekly sessions and making good learning progress. Junior sessions are run by qualified and experienced L2 coaches. The club invests lots of interest in junior coaching and prepares them to participate in county tournaments. Bring your child, if they are age 8 and above to bring out their badminton skills to the next level.

Friendly
We create a friendly environment on and off the court. At the same time, we ensure all our sessions are competitive to push players' badminton skills to the next level. We group players based on their ability and do the court allocation to make the session interesting, friendly, and competitive.
Training/Coaching

Club actively participates in kent league Orpington league - (ONWK), Ravensbourne League - (RRBA). We have teams for Men's, Mixed, Composite playing Div1, Div2, and Div3.

Club Terms
Membership and Payment Terms
- Kindly note there is a club joining fee for all new junior and senior players. Players inactive for more than a quarter will have to pay a re-joining fee (same as new joiners)
- A membership subscription doesn't mean your booking is confirmed for a session. You are still required to book your session on our booking app vjoin.app to confirm your availability.
- Members cannot take a break from the payment schedule even though they cannot attend due to holidays (short-term holidays during vacation).
- All membership requires a compulsory 1-month notice to cancel/suspend their membership.
- In case of venue cancellations due to unforeseen situations, the club will make arrangements for an alternate venue. if no venue is available, a credit note will be issued to use against future sessions for PAYG players. A refund for subscribed members is only applicable if the total number of cancelled sessions exceeds 50% in a given term. For example, if you have opted monthly subscription there should be 2 or more cancellations in a month out of 4 or 5 sessions to avail refunds. Cancellations are non-transferrable as cash.
- Kindly note that pre-informed session cancellation are nonrefundable, for example, on bank holidays.
- Due to unforeseen circumstances such as moving out of location due to work, the club may consider your cancellation request of quarterly/half-yearly /annual membership under discretion upon satisfactory evidence provided. The unused balance membership amount will be refunded after deducting your 1-month compulsory notice and 25% admin charges.
- Booking cancellation within 5 days of session is still payable and non-refundable
- Late Fee Charges: Please note overdue payments unsettled within 2 calendar days will attract a 25% late fee charges.

How to join/book session?
All our club session bookings are managed and powered by vjoin.app. This app is accessible on any browser using the link https://vjoin.app Also this app can be downloaded on Android and iOS devices. However, we recommend accessing via browser.
Register
New joiners, Please create a profile. Seniors or above U-16 join the 'Bexley BC Seniors' group. For juniors below U-16 please join Bexley Juniors/Coaching group on the app.
Admin Approval
Wait for your profile to be admin-approved. Use the child's name for the junior profile. Provide player's profile picture. Kindly don't upload a random profile picture.
Complete Profile
Once approved, complete profile. For juniors tick to say 'under 16'.
Book Session
Once the profile is complete, book a session visiting the Booking page on the app.
Is there a minimum age requirement for junior badminton?
We suggest the late 7-years or early 8-years of age as a good start introducing badminton to your child.
What do I need to bring during my first junior session?
Comfortable indoor sports dress, indoor shoes, junior racket, and water bottle.
Can Junior players come on their own to badminton sessions?
Parents are responsible to drop their child inside the badminton court hall 5 mins before the session. Parents should arrive 5 mins early to collect them from the court hall. Club organisers or coaches won't be responsible for safeguarding outside the badminton session timings and outside the badminton court hall.
How to register/renew Badminton England annual membership?
Visit Badminton England website Badminton England membership to register new or renew your
BE annual membership. At least "club player" or above package is required to participate in local league/competitions. This applies to both seniors and junior players.
Once registered make a note of your BE membership ID.
To participate in external tournaments login BE tournament website BE Tournaments. The login name should be your BE membership ID prefixed with "beuk". For example, beuk12345, where 12345 is your registered membership ID and password should be as provided during BE annual membership registration.
